Members were saddened by the recent passing of Mary Street, who along with Alex Street was at one time very active in BODS. She also received an MBE for her work in the Police.

At her funeral in St Michael's Betchworth on 12 Feb several long-standing members were in the congregation and choir, and music from Mary's favourite G & S operettas was played.
